1. Introduction

Zuqus AI ("we", "our", or "us"), operated by Zuqus Technology, provides an AI-powered Shopify operations platform accessible at https://ai.zuqus.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: Email address, name, and password hash when you register.
• Shopify store data: Shop domain, access token (encrypted), store name, currency, and country — collected during OAuth installation.
• Usage data: AI chat messages, tool call logs, approval requests, and scheduled job configurations associated with your account.
• Billing data: Subscription plan and payment status. Payment processing is handled by Razorpay; we do not store card details.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and request logs for security and rate limiting.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Zuqus AI service.
• To execute Shopify operations on your behalf via the Shopify Admin API.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send transactional emails (e.g., approval notifications, billing receipts).
• To monitor for abuse, enforce rate limits, and maintain security.
• To improve our AI models and service quality using anonymized usage patterns.

4. Shopify Data

We access your Shopify store data solely to execute actions you request through our AI interface. We do not sell, share, or use your Shopify store data for advertising. We retain store data only as long as your account is active. When you uninstall the app, your access token is revoked immediately. All remaining data is permanently deleted within 48 days in accordance with Shopify's data retention requirements.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Shopify: To fulfil API requests on your behalf.
• Anthropic (Claude API): AI chat messages are processed by Anthropic's API. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Razorpay: Payment processing. See Razorpay's Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Chat history and tool logs are retained for up to 12 months for debugging and audit purposes, after which they are automatically purged.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted storage, HTTPS-only communication, hashed passwords (bcrypt), and HMAC-verified webhooks. Shopify access tokens are stored encrypted. API tokens are stored as one-way hashes and never retrievable after creation.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (right to erasure).
• Object to or restrict processing of your data.
• Data portability.
